Grand Slam Safety and Card & Associates built the dream multi-sport facility in Lebanon, IN!

When Card & Associates set out to build Farmers Bank Fieldhouse in Indiana, they needed a multi-use turf facility that could handle baseball, softball, football, lacrosse, and soccer. They also wanted to maximize playable space and keep players, spectators, and the facility looking professional. They brought Grand Slam Safety in early to design multiple indoor containment systems that could check every box.

This was our second fieldhouse with Card & Associates. Shortly after wrapping it, we completed our third, the Mishawaka Fieldhouse, also in Indiana.

What Grand Slam Safety Delivered

SPECTO® Indoor Perimeter System

Our tensioned, impactable SPECTO® indoor perimeter system gave the fieldhouse the safety and flexibility to host baseball, softball, lacrosse, football, and soccer in one space. SPECTO® can sit close to your building supports, so more of your turf stays playable, and the transparent mesh keeps sight lines open for spectators.

Two VISTA Divider Curtains

The facility needed to transform its space in seconds and use portions of the field for different activities. We installed two VISTA motorized divider curtains with vertical lift, so staff can open the field for full-field play or section it off for separate groups.

Mezzanine Batting Cage Shell

On the mezzanine, we installed a 140' L x 40' W netting shell with five internal tracks, creating up to six hitting tunnels. It gives the fieldhouse a transformable batting cage space for batting practice.

Canopy Netting

To protect the roof of the new fieldhouse, we installed canopy netting that spans over the main field.
